Summer at the Grand Hôtel des Rasses
Grand Hôtel des Rasses is ideally located in the heart of the Balcony of the Vaud Jura, at an altitude of 1,200m, to satisfy families, sportsmen and nature lovers.
The village of Les Rasses is at the origin of the region's tourist development. It is the main departure point for mountain bike or walking tours.
The Sainte-Croix/Les Rasses region is the capital of the music box and high-precision industry.
Mini-golf
The presence of a mini-golf course in the hotel's facilities is the perfect opportunity for a moment of laughter and entertainment with your family and friends. The 18-hole course, authentic and "vintage", dates back to the 1960s. This precision sport will be an opportunity to demonstrate your ability to overcome obstacles, step by step. A timeless activity for children of all ages, it will provide you with beautiful moments of emotion during your stay.
The Other Activities
The region is ideal for beautiful hiking (storage available), cycling or horseback riding. Stroll and discover magnificent landscapes and a unique panorama, overlooking the city of Yverdon-les-Bains and Lake Neuchâtel, Lake Geneva, the Swiss Alps and the Chasseron.
For the sportsmen, enjoy various activities such as canyoning, mountain biking (bike rental on site) or even accrobranche.
MOUNTAIN BIKING
Since summer 2019, two new mountain bike trails have been available in the region:
The Hotel has a closed room. You can also wash your bike on site.
The establishment offers two electric mountain bikes for rent:
- CHF 80 per day
- CHF 45.00 - the ½ day (7am - 12.30pm or 1pm - 8pm)
Conditions of the rental:
- The helmet provided is mandatory.
- The prices include the cleaning of the bike.
- The rental does not cover insurance.
- In case of breakage or theft, you are responsible.
You can rent additional bicycles from Bikeslab (+41 (0)24 555 18 68), partner of the Grand Hotel des Rasses.
On request, the Hotel can call upon a guide to accompany you. The rate varies according to the duration.
