Winter at the Grand Hôtel des Rasses
Grand Hôtel des Rasses is ideally located in the heart of the Balcony of the Vaud Jura, at an altitude of 1,200m, to satisfy families, sportsmen and nature lovers.
The village of Les Rasses is at the origin of the region's tourist development. It is the main starting point for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing or even a prime spot for downhill skiing.
The Sainte-Croix/Les Rasses region is the capital of the music box and high-precision industry.
Activities
Grand Hôtel des Rasses enjoys a privileged location, a few metres from the ski slopes.
The ski area of Sainte-Croix/Les Rasses has 8 ski lifts, 1 of which is specially designed for beginners. It is located between 1'150m and 1'580m above sea level. Since 2008, snow guns have been used to ensure good snow conditions throughout the winter.
The Balcon du Jura offers more than 100 km of marked trails for cross-country skiers. It is one of the most popular areas in Central Europe for this activity.
